We cannot afford to lose any more wetlands in Ontario. A mobile home park is not worth the destruction of a provincially significant wetland.

A provincially significant wetland should not be tampered with. If this is the same situation that we are dealing with in Niagara, my guess is the decision is being made by pro-development politicians who are likely funded by developers. The Boards of Conservation Authorities who use their positions to put forward their private agendas should be disbanded. Conservation Authorities should be preserving the few natural areas we have. If they want to develop why aren't they developing on brown fields? Also what benefits will a mobile home park bring to the community? It seems like a lose - lose situation. To all politicians, please stop listening to developers and listen to the people who elected you.

In my view the LSRCA should be trying to stop developments of wetlands. In this it seems that LSRCA is favour of developing these wetlands and is trying to be secret about its real intentions. As a tax payer and resident of York Region since 1980 I do not fell that I am getting my monies worth from LSRCA

This is a critical issue, taking place in the middle of an increasingly developed part of our province. It's important that we keep greenspaces and wetlands, as it's almost impossible to get them back once they're gone. There's room elsewhere for housing to go.

Please do the right thing by the wetlands - we rely on institutions such as the LSRCA to do what they say they are going to do.
By not doing this is a massive betrayal. Please help preserve our wetlands!!

Really? This is a conservation authority? Do the right thing. A mobile trailer home park does not belong in a wetland. It is not rocket science!

If one didn't know otherwise one might think the LSRCA was operating in Russia.
Sad.
