Cycles can use the road. Please leave the lanes alone.

Perhaps the genius who has had this bright idea could identify themselves if they think they’re right they have nothing to worry about if we know who they are. Accountability.

I’ve walked home through the Water Lanes three sheets to the wind in the pitch black and never have I fallen in. It’s one of life’s fun challenges.

This a ridiculous plan

Just leave it alone. Are there not more pressing things to deal with?

Just make Collings Road one way and include a cycle path on the main road. With the speed of electric bikes in this era leave the Water Lanes to pedestrians and ensure cyclists dismount if passing through.

Who decided this? Not the people who walk thro there. The island belongs to the residents not a small group of people

Leave the water lanes as they are, prioritise for pedestrians, if cyclists use them they will go too fast and it will no longer be safe for those on foot and it would have a negative impact on the nature in that area

Too many decisions are now being made by Civil Service and not the democratically elected members of the states. This has to change.

Please, just no. These lanes are part of an ever decreasing heritage and natural charm that is being slowly, but surely, eroded away.
