Stop turning Guernsey it to a WOKE island with nothing left of the old Guernsey we loved!

This proposal will not make it safer for pedestrians or cyclists as it does not resolve traffic issues overall, it would destroy a beautiful part of local heritage and much needed biodiversity.

Leave our water lanes alone, speaking on behalf of our wildlife.

Please keep the the water lanes in St Peter Port. Unusual and should be highlighted more to visitors. I will be visiting this summer and will make sure I visit them.

The Water Lanes should be left as they are and have been for many years, a peaceful sanctuary, a safe place for pedestrians.

I grew up in the water lanes and it is such a lovely area. Why do you want to ruin it? If children can't read to dismount we live in a very sad world. Why are people trying to ruin what is left of guernsey?

Ridiculous idea.

Common sense has been used for years by the locals using the lanes, please don’t keep changing Guernsey. Stop trying to sort out things that don’t need sorting out.

It’s been a safe walkway for young children since I was a child in the 60’s so please leave it as it is.

Don’t spoil an historic walkway which has been in existence for so long. It’s such a peaceful and lovely area to walk through.

I have always known it to be this way, it's been enjoyed by many and good for wildlife habitat. Leave it as it is.

Many cyclists cause enough problems on our roads without allowing them to use and spoil the tranquility of the Water Lanes. I imagine if cyclists were permitted, it would no longer be safe for pedestrians or children. Please do not ruin another piece of Guernsey.
