Please leave the water lanes as they are and have been since my childhood 60 years ago. I went to Amherst School and St Peter Port Secondary school. my grandmother and an aunt and uncle lived in Collings Road and we often walked these lanes. Traffic and Bicycles belong on roads not tranquil lanes. Birds and wildlife enhance our mental wellbeing and should be helped not driven away.

Why not just have some integrity and keep the water lanes untouched by modern building materials ? and not mess with yet another important piece of Guernsey history.

This tranquil part of our island needs to be left alone. It's not broke so no need to fix it

Please do not cover the water lanes and keep this a pedestrian only route. Rare haven and hub for widlife and animals who need access to water. Don't fix what's not broken and use tax payers money responsibly

I walked these for years going to school and then also in later life, leave them completely alone.

Multiple reasons not to take ANY action and leave them as they are:
- If it’s not broken don’t fix it. They’ve been like this for longer than any of us could remember.
- Why urbanise more of our island?
- Why PAY from a shallow pocket to urbanise more of our island. Spend the money elsewhere.
- Will someone please think of the animals?!

No thought for the wildlife or community usong the water lanes. Why is there suddenly this issue for the new campus yet cyclists have made the journey without problem thus far to the le vsrandes site and the former st peter port site.
