Arrowe park is miles away from my home and takes a really long time to get to. I've used the walk in at VCH and been diagnosed and treated there with various health issues over the years. I also know when it's appropriate to present myself at A&E.

Closing Wirral's walk-in centres could endanger lives and increase waiting times at Arrowe Park A & E.

Why are theses vital services being threatened with closure? This will only put pressure on Arrowe Park Hospital and make waiting times much longer!

The walk in centres are a vital service and are very much needed and used in the areas they are in by closing them would surely only add extra pressure and stress to arrowe Park and their patients, extra waiting time, jam packed waiting room, risk of passing on viruses , congestion etc

Plrase stop this. Some of us live really far away from hospital, and if I burn my hand or something like that, I refuse to get a taxi or bus there

I have visited the drop in centre three times in the last six months therefore relieving pressure on GP and A&E, penny pinching by shutting down facilities does not save money but deprive people of local services.

Removing a scheme means that all problems associated with it are eliminated.

Primary health care should be community based and easily accessible. Re-locating walk in & minor injury services to hospital sites is both a physical and psychological barrier to access and therefore should be retained in local settings. Planning primary health care services should be a bottom up process where the views the local people are taken into consideration.
