We need our local services. Not everyone has a car and public transport is not always available, is costly and can involve a very long journey to Arrowe Park.

With the pressure on our local hospitals, and with sensible strategy for treating us in our communities, how can this decision be responsible or right!?

I am amazed that the Labour controlled council tried to push this through without informing the community

For the good of the local various areas with a walk in centre they absolutely need to remain open and fully staffed

Why does the CCG have to change what already works? Surely Wirral wide services have got to be better than a centralised service on the hospital that has limited bus services on a Sunday, no train link and very busy car parking facilities during hospital visiting times.

who are these idiots who want to move them to Arrowe Park...
Already A &E which people will go to rather than sit in a Walk in Center...an out of hours...
Buses are rare on a Sunday...parking is even rarer at Arrowe Park ...
Doesn't matter what community you live in you need these vital centers...
Love to shake hands with the idiot behind the idea....

No logic from government in closing walk-in centres , they are saving money and taking stress away from an already busy AP

Appreciate the pressures on funding and striking a balance between affordability and need but as a family who work Monday to Friday 8am-6pm having the ability to access out of hours walk-in centres are vital. We are working age busy people who struggle to get to the Doctors when they are open. Recently my pregnant wife was struggling with mastitis and the associated symptoms at 20 weeks and we were able to see a Doctor at a walk-in facility on the Saturday. She was prescribed antibiotics and we were relieved that a Doctor had seen her quickly at a time that was possible for us.
Thank you for considering this petition.
A concerned husband and future father.
