I have used the walk in centre for ailments that can't wait for my children and also A&E Clinic with serious illnesses that included admission to hospital. If their service goes the cost to the NHS and busyness on top of what they cope will be incredible. This seriously needs to be thought through as it seems to be at detriment to everyone.

The Walk In Centres are a basic need for the local people. We cannot travel to Arrowe Park for minor injuries, it is just not practical and too expensive. This puts peoples health at risk. A lot of trips to the walk in are a result of not being able to see a GP urgently.

I used the walk in centre at Laird Street and was so impressed with the speed of being seen. In and out in under 1 hour, I suspect I would have been at A & E for much longer! These centres take the pressure off the emergency departments.

Replace the CCG with intelligent people. This group made a complete mess of changing the Blood Test system on the Wirral and caused absolute chaos, now they are doing the same thing with Walk-In centres. They seem hell bent on ruining health services on the Wirral.

As someone with many health concerns I use this invaluable facility very often, in fact I’ll be going today as I can’t get drs appointment and I have a chest infection. I have asthma and they help me so much. I couldn’t afford to trek to aph to be seen as I also have ms. Come on, give us a break!
