It is absolutely ludicrous to even think about closing “minor injury” units and open a unit at an already “overloaded” Arrowe Park.

These services are a god send to a lot of people and must play a vital part in taking pressures off Arrowe Park Hospital and doctor's surgeries. It will be a big mistake by the borough's medical chief to let these service's go.

We need a local, accessible service. We have elderly relatives that find travel difficult. Parking is rediculous at APH.

Arrowe Park is a nightmare with the current number of outpatients without closing our local convenient walk in centres and adding more.

I wish to support the petition as an MIU is needed in the local area of Moreton, as it is convenient when needed. I used the unit last year due to scalding with boiling water and was able to get there within 10 minutes, whereas Arrowe Park Hospital would be two buses away, due to the withdrawal of a local bus service. A lot of local people who do not drive such as myself find the unit in Moreton a necessity when needed.

There isn't a bus now from Eastham making it very difficult for people without cars.
