These walk in centres are vital, it reduces the need to go to an already busy A&E.

These centres are a vital part of the community. it makes no sense to send people to hospitals which are already busy and overcrowded.

I consider this the start of privatisation of the NHS.

Total bunkum.

Surely this would put more pressure on already struggling A&E departments.

This proposal is sheer lunacy, the powers that be have already seen the weight of feeling when they proposed closing the Eastham Walk in centre. To further over burden the APH site within additional patients yet no added parking shows the unrealistic thinking of senior management, who clearly are NOT patient orientated.

First the General shut, then lots of doctors surgeries throughout the town. It's a strange cabal running our health service these days, I think they're looking after themselves. Local people need a local facility for when they're injured, unwell or need medical advice for any reason. Arrowe Park is too far to get to, too expensive to drive to. What happens if you need them before 0930? The bus pass doesn't start until then, just a minor thought.

Has the Chair of the CCG ever attended APH A&E?

It's a bonkers idea to close the walk-in centres! My family members have used the Wallasey Victoria Central walk-in and there is always a wait which shows it is a necessary service. How are people supposed to travel to APH?! Traffic and parking there are horrendous already! Use some common sense and practical judgement. I hope the Scrutiny Committee comes to the right conclusion.

It’s been a wonderful idea to have this at our surgery, always nice to know we have it there when we need it without having to go to Arrowe Park and wait for hours. We have used it a number of times with minor injury’s or illness, and it’s very efficient. It also takes the pressure off A&E at Arrowe Park, when it’s just something minor and you can’t get a doctors appointment, the nurses are always there to help, then you don’t need a doctors appointment and they can concentrate on patients with more serious problems. You never have to wait very long as they attend to you quite quickly. It’s marvellous! Please don’t close it down!

The walk in centres are a vital part of our local NHS. Also cost effective compared to the coat of going to Arrwe park.

Arrows Park Hospital would need to take over a substantial part of the Park just for parking. Are there plans for additional bus services from all local areas? This action has not been thought through!

Leave well enough alone, this puts an extra burden on Arrowe Park A&E and means people have further to travel for treatment - not really a walk-in service.

Taking away local centres will make access to health care more difficult for many, and increase the burden on Arrowe Park Hospital, adding to congestion in the area, too. Timely intervention saves money for the NHS and alleviates suffering. Why mess with a system that clearly works?
