Pretty soon the only reason for going into the city centre will be to drink, eat and pawn items. Nobody wants this to happen!

Keep this alive, increasing rates just kicks people out. Unfortunately the centre/high street is fading with pawn shops and 99p stores so don't let it happen to this place.

It's outrageous that small businesses get shafted like this regularly in the islands and islands. For a town so set on preserving the history and friendly feel the people who make these decisions go a long way making sure it's occupied by nothing but big corporate business who suck the breath from the community as apposed to the small businesses who give it life.

The village is an amazing place. It offer inspiration and opportunity to the Inverness city centre. It innovative and exciting!! We need this place and more of its kind to draw people into the dying city centre!

I've visited the Village many times and it is extremely clear that the building is made up of several different businesses that are clearly seperate and is a noticeable benefit to the shopping scene in Inverness!

the Village is blatantly several independant shops operating under one roof. This decision is ludicrous at a time when Inverness city centre is in a state of decline. Please see sense and allow what is a thriving and positive venture to continue to trade in Inverness ciy centre.

The Village has been one of the best independant local business that the town has to offer in a city centre that was dying! It has brightened up the place and it would be a huge loss to all the locals that enjoy shopping there.

These days It's really difficult for small businesses to survive especially with ludicrous decisions like this. Inverness city centre is dying and along comes someone with a great innovative idea. So what do they do? Knock it on the head and continue supporting the out of town superstores and chain stores.
