Surely it would make sense to get several small amounts in rates as against NOTHING for yet another eyesore empty shop. This is yet another kick in the teeth for the small trader. It calls into question why exactly councillors want these sort of places shut down.

Disgraceful and appauling that small businesses in our local area are not being supported. Turns out 'rejuvenation and investment' in this city was just more empty words from the power at be!

Rediculous to class individual, independent businesses as a collective. Do they get taxed collectively? No.

I think this is a great asset to Inverness and a really quirky place to shop
This is an amazing place and it would be such a disappointment if the highland council didn't allow a place to thrive after everybody's hard work in getting it up and running. Especially seeing as other small businesses in that area of town have had to close and the village has definitely brightened that area of town up.

Inverness has few enough small business ventures as it is. These places should be embraced and treasured not pushed out.

Surely the council should be paying the village? This community project has brought in creativity, inspiration and a whole lot more to the dying city centre. Looks like the council are wanting nothing else but multi national chains that you can find anywhere else. The village is one of the main reasons I go into the centre of Inverness, anything else in the town can be found in the retail parks or online.

please let the village survive. it's an important part of the tenacious attempt by a small group of locals trying to inject some character and interest into the town. it's also doing a great job bringing together small businesses and individuals together to create a lovely and lively community spirit to inverness. they work hard to provide a vibrant experience for the customers which you can't say for many of the retailers in inverness
