Save our View Canton

Please don't put a large parking deck behind the old marble courthouse. My family, my husbands' family and eventually my husband and I will be buried in Riverview Cemetery. Please don't make it hard to get to. Keep the historic value of our lovely downtown area.

please do not build that parking garage in downtown canton that will be nothing but an ugly eye sore.

This cemetery is very important to our family and the community. Our family plots are there and it is going to be my final resting place. Please don't hide it behind a parking garage

We have family members buried in the cemetery going back Generations. We need to be given appropriate access to it. It is also an important historical part of Georgia history and should not be hidden away

STOP THE GROWTH!!! Cherokee county usted to be a wonderful little small community. Stop annexation. Won’t need to build a horrific parking Deck..

Our stupid county commissioners cannot seem to do anything right. There is no respect for the history of any part of our county, and everything is driven by money. For once, do the right thing and respect the wishes of the citizens. The growth is out of control and is a mishmash of haphazard decisions of the last 25 years—do not let this monstrous and poorly placed/designed parking deck be the latest debacle.

Save the view!!

This does not need to be built behind the historic courthouse, The Mills Justice Center takes up enough space. While I know parking is limited, some other alternative needs to be found. Save the look of hometown Canton.

Please don't build the parking deck at this location.

The proposal of a 7-story parking deck located between the beautiful, historic marble Courthouse, the Art Center & Riverview Cemetery is atrocious! The former Library location site would be better utilized and would serve all of downtown Canton.

Use the old library location

Please search for other options. So much has already been destroyed with little thought about the impact.

This is the wrong place and too large of a parking deck, We need to keep downtown historic and small town views.

The parking garage is huge and not to scale with the buildings around Downtown Canton

Canton definitely needs more parking, but it is also important to maintain the integrity of the historic downtown area.

We enjoy the current "feel" of Old downtown Canton. Someone is only looking at $'s and not thinking about the impact to aesthetics of downtown.

This monstrous parking deck would not only block some historic structures in our downtown area, it would destroy the "small town" ambiance that exists today. Please find an area that would be hidden from Main Street visitors.

With relatives buried in Riverview and as a third generation Cantonian who grew up in the former Canton First Methodist Church building, I am very opposed to putting a monstrous, overwhelming parking deck behind the white marble courthouse. We need the parking, but there has to be better place for it!
