Building a tower on the site proposed doesn't make any sense. There is already a daily quagmire in the area around the Wisconsin Ave/Bradley Blvd intersection. More traffic brought by senseless over-development would exacerbate an already bad situation.

We should not change the zoning ordinances for a street that directly borders a single family community. West Ave is a parking lot right now in the morning and evening as parents drop off and pick up their children from the school.

When we bought our house 11 years ago,, we bought in a community where mixed use buildings were welcome but where a family could be raised within an inviting and accessible dowtiown. We now jokingly refer to Bethesda center as "the city". Sadly, it is no joke.

I think it's reasonable to develop the lots, but with serious consideration for the fact that it is on the edge of a residential neighborhood. It makes no sense to build structures here that are more than twice as tall as those in the center of downtown Bethesda.

High Rise development should be reserved for the South side of Wisconsin Ave. The proposed building is completely disproportionate to the traffic infrastructure supporting it; not smart development (except for the developer!). I strongly oppose it- as does every neighbor with whom I have spoken.

This development represents habitat encroachment that would negatively impact the quality of life of nearby residents by blocking sunlight, increasing traffic and further taxing already heavily used infrastructure.

We have moved here this year, and I am getting familiarized with the issues living near downtown Bethesda.

Montgomery County leaders never even responded to my request to help with a 5 foot variance on my corner house on Walsh St, but they are giving away height restrictions to developers. It's obvious that our elected leaders don't care about regular citizens and want to develop us out of Bethesda.
