I have a granddaughter who is currently attending Burchell and is doing great with her studies. This alternative school has been a blessing for her to help her get strong motivation and direction in completing high school plus hope for entering college. Please save Burchell as an alternative school!

This school is the only thing that kept me afloat. The help I got, the wonderful staff that encouraged me to push myself and not just give up as I had before. It was so nice knowing that I was more than just a number in the school system. I felt appreciated and cared for. The teachers didn't just care about a pay check, they wanted to help us achieve our greatest goals. If it were not for this school, who knows where I would be at this point. Probably a long lost dropout. Everyone, no matter their situation, deserves to have a school like Burchell! Thank you such much Burchell and staff.

They need to get rid of this new principle. All I've heard is so many bad things about him! Burchell is supposed to be different. It's not supposed to be like all the other high schools! It used to be so great.

All though I didn't finish school at the school I will say it was one of the best school there is. They have such caring teachers and staff and great programs as well. If it wasn't for some of the people at that school I don't know what I would have done

Tish wasn't just a teacher. She was an extremely caring person. She didn't do it just for the money, she did it for the students.
She was always there to talk with someone about what was going on with them, even when she had her own stuff going on. She always helped motivate others, and cared for her students so much. We can't find a lot of teachers like that, we need her to stay there, for the sake of the school.

Keep Burchell the way it is! They have changed a lot of us for the better! I love them. And none of us wants to see them go. They've helped us and will keep helping more if they stay! DONT CHANGE BURCHELL

This school is hands down a life saver for many kids in the valley. Not only for education but for kids who don't have enough clothes, food, ect.. they help kids in hard times and circumstances they can't control.

Burchell was made for kids who had trouble in traditional schools. We aren't mainstream. Keep it that way.
