Established and serving the community over 20 years.
We request that the Hucknall Taekwon-do Club be allowed be allowed to carry on training at its present times and venue undisturbed by the demands of profit. This club is a valued asset to the local community and should be preserved for future generations.
The massive surge of support proves that this community will not sit back while corporate greed threatens our space. The bureaucrats in charge of this venue need to understand that they cannot simply erase two decades of history for a quick payout.

Please don’t penalise those with lesser incomes or lack of transport by closing this club. Youngsters are far better off engaged in an organised activity that inspires loyalty and discipline than being pushed aside due to profits and budgets. Be loyal to your longstanding club PLEASE!

Disgusted that The Leisure Centre is planning to close this club. This club had provided the area with world champions. How many organisations can claim to do that?

Why do we sacrifice all that is good for our communities for the sake of profit?! There is too little sport & fitness in the UK as it is, and not enough activities for the youth of today. Obesity is still on the rise in children and society as a whole........ Please think with your mind not your pockets!

Families train together at this club and couldn't continue to do this if the times are changed. Martial arts incorporate fitness, flexibilty and concentration, and encourage discipline and self-control: perfect family values. Please save this club!

In loosing your local Taekwondo club (or any martial art) you will loose a dedicated resource to the community, diminishing the opportunities for young and old to develop together, give purpose and direction to young people and invest in their future with little cost to local government other than provide a place to train. The consequences of closing may infact, in the longer term, will almost certainly cost more than allowing it to continue.
