Can you provide any backup to support your claim that no one wants this new hotel ? I can think of three groups at least: people going to gigs the Academy, friends and family of Brixtonians, and overseas visitors to Black Cultural Arcives. The new Premeir Inn appears to be thriving - and is highly rated on TripAdvisor.
So when you say say "no one" are you making the narcissistic's mistake of believing that what you think is what everybody thinks ?
Also, this petition is inconsequential. If you want to object, use the Lambeth Planning comments system, whose purpose is to gather comments.

Great little bar around the corner from the madness. Not everyone wants to go to Brixton Village, Pop, or those other mainstream places.
