Sick of new developments being imposed on the community at the expense of much loved local businesses. Been a customer since it opened and long may it last.

This is getting ridiculous , Brixton definitely does need or want another hotel. Leave the bars alone , there is the premier inn (unfortunately) , tulse hill hotel, air bnb ...

This is a great bar, great location and means a lot to people - for me it's where I went for a drink offer finding my dream home, where I've celebrated birthdays and made a normal Sunday extraordinary with the help of their killer Espresso Martinis. This is a local institution.

Our area is having its guts ripped out by greedy businessmen, we don't not want hotels in Brixton. Nursery Road has always been a residential area and the people have always looked after each other. SW9 bar is a local meeting place for residents and locals and Brixton would be a sadder place without Alan and the friendly staff that he employs.

David Chambers, you seem to be missing the point. It's not the postcode people would like to keep local, it's the actual BAR which is called SW9!
The majority of people here would like to see it remain as do the majority commenting on the Lambeth Planning website.
