To His Excellency, The Honorable Tom Wolf
Governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
We the undersigned do hereby PETITION you to undertake and carryout the following three (3) specific actions with all deliberate speed:
1. Pursuant to Article 1, Section 27 of our state Constitution, make Pennsylvania State Government a better "trustee" of our rivers and streams.
2. Have our beautiful and historic Susquehanna River formally declared "impaired" so that real clean up can begin.
3. Use tax and fee revenues from natural gas extraction ("severance tax on fracking") for the clean-up and protection of our Susquehanna River and its tributaries.

I fish this river 5 out of 7 days a week, the decline in fish and the over all health of the river is unbelievable. This was once a top 5 smallmouth fishery in the country, please help us to resurrect the MIGHTY SUSQUEHANNA !
the damn's need to be dredged out in front of. each one of our damn's from Pa. to Md. holds decades of heavy pollutants. these contaminated soils need to be removed. not only is it harming our susquehanna river but the bay as well.
As a boater on the river since the 70s the water quality had been declining rapidly. Example......look at Cordorus Lake and then look at the river. Cordorus Lake is a blue green color. The river is always brownish looking. And slimy. Please clean our river NOW!!!
Up and down the Susquehanna and its creeks, people are lamenting the demise of the smallmouth. Many people are going to the Potomac, Shenandoah or Delaware to fish. Governor Wolf, bring back the Susquehanna River. We can do this! Please declare our river impaired.
Please save my river! I grew up on this river and it kept me from trouble and made me who I am from the people I grew up around on it! I want my 2 year old son to have the same opportunity! Please please please save the river!!

Our river is our most important natural resource in central pa...please let us do right by it! I'm concerned also about the toxic content of cracking water leading into our waterways and eventually into the Susquehanna....please let us not leave this state a mess for future generations to clean up.
