I have been fortunate enough to have had a river front lot along the North Branch for the past 32 years and it has been within the last 8 years or so that I started to see a promising hatch of smallmouths get sick and die every year. With all the modern resources available today someone should be able to identify and fix the problem before it's too late.

Keep posting the signs. It got my attention and went on the website to see that the condition of the Susquehanna River is worse than I had previously been informed. We are to be responsible citizens and should be taking care of our natural resources

I grew up learning to boat and fish on the Susquehanna River with my Father. It is both sad and disturbing that I can't pass that tradition on because of its current state.

This is an incredible river and I wish I could feel safe taking my son to fish, and boat and swim in it without worrying about all the pollutants. We need to rescue this river for our future generations.

I work as a river guide on the Susquehanna and see first hand on a daily basis the effects of toxins and garbage that makes its way to the river. I also see the immediate improvement of water quality and overall health of areas where a conscious effort to clean up has been made. This river is a precious treasure that desperately needs our help so that future generations can enjoy its many benefits.

If Pete Seeger's Clearwater organization could clean up the Hudson we can clean up the Susquehanna River.

These steps need to be do to preserve or river clean it. So it can provide a clean good source for recreation. Protecting our river also protects a source Pa history that should not be neglected.
