It is vital that this surgery stays open as there has been so much new housing development in this area.

Its hard enough to see a gp without closing one of the main sites in wokingham

This MUST NOT close in an area where so many underprivileged families who DO NOT drive live. It is hard enough getting some people to the GP even when close by. Closing this would cause even fewer seriously ill people getting a check up. My partner William Atkinson died in April 2020..he was not keen on going to the GP and kept putting off calling about a pain in his jaw. He didn't take his BP treatment properly and was an alcoholic. He died from a massive heart attack. Imagine how many stubborn people really will NOT go if there is no parking or they can't walk to the surgery. Autistic people hate change this will be a massive issue to go to a bigger louder surgery.

I have lived in Wokingham for 7 years and Burma Hills surgery has always provided just what one expects from one’s G.P……… appointments within a reasonable amount of time, understanding and time during appointments, a helpful team on reception and the impression that the Doctor and other staff really care about their patients. There is a huge amount of new housing in my area. Now is not the time to be closing a local surgery.

This surgery has been brilliant. We actually moved from WMC to Burma Hills and the difference was second to none. Please don’t close it as it is vital for our community.

With so much new housing being built in the local area, there is a growing need for more capacity at the surgery, and we certainly can’t afford to lose this GP practice.

It is necessary to keep this surgery open, we should be looking to add more GPs in Wokingham with so many new builds

This is an important necessity to our community and must be saved as A GP surgery

It is vital to keep this surgery open. The Rose street surgery is already overstretched. If the Burma Hills Surgery closes we wouldn't be able to get appointments. I feel very strongly about this.

Wokingham medical centte is already overwhelmed by the amount of patients and care has list quality. The loss of another clinic will put extra pressure

Moving patients from Burma Hills to WMC would put too much strain on an already stretched. The surgery has an excellent reputation and patient care is second to none.

I will be most upset to see this surgery closed, other local alternatives are not very good, that s why they would be glad to see it closed to gain back custom lost. I for one will be looking elsewere if I have to but would rather stay at Burma Hills.

This essential service needs to be retained

I do not want Burma Hills Surgery to close, the staff are very friendly and helpful unlike other places.

We are very concerned about the medical services that we will not get following the retirement of Dr. Jalisi at Burma Hills. He was an excellent GP who used to look after us and care beyond duty. We must have the continuation of this Surgery as the Wokingham Medical Centre cannot cope with their current patients. The staff at this Surgery are also very helpful and provide a very good service.

Sort it out there should be more than one doctor at any surgery!!

If the surgery is closed it would mean more patients with chronic conditions having to access other NHS services to have conditions managed correctly as it's already impossible to get an appointment at Burma Hills and will get much worse when everyone gets pushed to WMC
