This is my closest drs surgery, I do not drive and with 2 children this is the most convenient surgery to attend.

We moved to Burma Hills from WMC as WMC was dreadful. Desperately want to avoid going back. BH was a breath of fresh air in comparison.

It’s a DISGRACE that it has come to this!!Not just covering Norreys Avenue, but people who LEFT WMC, because of inefficiency, SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE… PRONTO!

Burma Hills surgery must be allowed to continue with GP provision - it’s local and Wokingham Medical Centre is already over stretched . The new housing programme surely justifies even an additional practice not a reduction ?

Unbelievable. I have recieved the best treatment here since moving from a different surgery. Can't believe, with the huge amount of homes being built and population increasing in Wokingham they are closing such a valuable surgery.

We need more doctor’s surgeries not one less. If they had planned and built a new one for all the new houses on this side of town I could understand the reasoning but this makes no sense.

Wokingham Medical Centre has been overcapacity for several years. Closing Burma Hills Surgery will lead to further strain on resources.

if there was a surgery with doctors for many years,why can't we have 2 replacements doctors. It is crazy to be transferred to Rose Street surgery as they are too full already, what is going on? And not telling why this situation, never seen such a cop up on a very important matter,something has to be done as quick as possible,health is a serious matter...

To help support the government's green agenda, small, locally deployed GP practices allow patients to walk/cycle to their nearest practice. Making all GP care centralised is contrary to this and also reduces the ability to scale up GP care as more GPs are recruited. My ask is that we either allocate some WMC GPs to Burma Hills, or at the very least mothball the current Burma Hills surgery such that it has a short turnaround bringing into use period as more GPs are recruited.
