Existing surgeries in Wokingham already heavily subscribed and difficult to get appointments, we need another surgery, not one less.

A brilliant practice and we rely on it hugely. Please rethink

We need more, not fewer, surgeries in Wokingham. I came to live in Wokingham in 1993 since then the GP healthcare which had been good has gradually plummeted as increase in density of housing and population has risen enormously and overstretched available resources. As a health professional myself I have regularly heard this from patients and experienced problems myself. This was my reason for changing from the amalgamated “ service” in Rose Street to Burma Hills where at least I was able to get an appointment with a GP .Even that is not now easy! But ‘to squeeze a quart into a pint pot’ as seems now the plan, is ridiculous . I question what I am paying for my healthcare at a time in life when need it. Infrastructure from profligate building and expansion has not been matched with GP care - why not? Linda Bicket

We need this surgery in particular and more doctors in Wokingham.

With all the additional residents, we need more doctors' surgeries, not less.

Essential to keep our surgery. It is a vital part of our community . The staff are brilliant. So patient and always helpful.

We need to keep this surgery...wokingham already has enormous pressures on its medical centres and this small surgery is a vital resource and within walking distance for many people on this estate thereby helping keep the environmental promises too.

We are new to the area and were warned that Wokingham was renowned for its challenges with GP surgery access. We couldn’t have been happier with Burma Hills so far and it would be ludicrous to put even more pressure on the other surgeries if it were to close

I am disabled and have bad anxiety so changing gp would not be good for me at all

Burma Hills is a great local community asset with wonderful, efficient, caring staff serving Norreys area patients. Please don’t make us join the hoards , endless telephone queues and frustrations that is Wokingham Medical Centre.
