A school zone is a complete yes for a slow zone. The safety of kids are really important.

This is such a busy area, and so dangerous. I saw two boys crossing at the crosswalk yesterday outside school - lights flashing. A car going at least 55 mph drove right through the crosswalk in front of the kids!! Something needs to be done there!

Design of crosswalk is flawed. With the yellow flashing lights drivers don't know what to do. Second because there's two lanes of traffic on both side I commonly see only one lane in each direction stopping leaving the outside lane blind to student crossing. Especially if truck or large vehicle. Shutter every time I see a student or person using it. Needs to be improved for the safety of all, especially students.

As a mother of a child hit while walking home from school, I stand beside the parents, friends and staff at this school trying to protect their students.
