I want to bike to school, but I can't because I can't cross a highway. With this petition I might be able too. Please help me and other students who want to bike/walk to school.

I reported this problem to the MMW administration last year after seeing a boy almost get hit in the cross walk. Day after day, cars zoom through the cross walk oblivious to students about to cross or in the cross walk. This is a huge problem!

Parents and students have enough to worry about when it comes to being in middle school (exams, extra curricular activities, school violence, social and emotional adjustment, college prep, etc). Crossing the street safely should NOT be a concern for anyone.

We have lived in a number of states, and Minnesota is the first state we have live in where there are NO SCHOOL ZONES! For a state that clearly cares about our children, this is perplexing. MMW is adjacent to a HIGHWAY and MUST have a school zone to ensure the safety of the students and their families. Please do the right thing for our families and provide a school zone for our school before another person is injured or worse.

I think they should create a crossing tunnel or bridge. The bike path has a tunnel down the street into Lake Minnewashta.

My child crosses there and I work at the hospital I don't want to see my daughter there while I'm working hurt because of a crosswalk problem please add something to make it safe a police man and big stop sign red light please better safe than sorry!

Students want to get to school but I know some kids who use that crosswalk who are afraid to cross on their own they have a parent walk with them sometimes there are kids who are afraid to cross when I get there and I have to walk with them so they feel safe that shouldn't be ok
