Its scandalous that the Parish Council can waste money on putting sports equipment on to the Rose Avenue ground that nobody is using and probably will be vandalised aand have the audacity to demand such a high rent of a facility that has been managed and used to the benefit of the community

This is a vital part of the Hazlemere sports facilities and all local clubs should be encouraged to make use of it not priced out of it - Ken Williams would turn in his grave if he knew how you were abusing his unfailling support that he always gave to local sports.

I fail to see why the local council are enforcing this unacceptably high rent on top of a fully repairing lease. There is clearly an underlying and unacceptable reason for this unjustified level of rent. Having used the facilities in the past and appreciating the huge effort the volunteers have put into the facility, the local council should be pleased that it has been so successful for all the local residents enjoyment. The current arrangement must continue but at a much fairer level of rent

As a former HPC member, I agree the Pavilion was a community asset, and not a commercial building. The current Council should look at the history of the original Pavilion, they should be ashamed of themselves.

What on earth is hazlemere parish council thinking of. This amenity is important to local people. There are some things more important than money. This was never meant to be a commercial asset. The Parish Council should use their energies in solving other local issues. Like the appalling state of our roads!

I have already signed the petition, but I would like to add that I think the Council is acting disgracefully, and I do question their motives. Is there a hidden agenda? HP15 7PZ
My family have lived in Hazlemere for 39 years and as a member of the local charity, Hazlemere and Widmer End Good Neighbours for 25 of those years, I knew Ken Williams as he was a valuable member of this charity. The pavilion built in his name is a great asset to our community and was a great source of pride to ken. He would be horrified to see the greed of the present parish council putting this wonderful asset in jeopardy..
