Having been through the exact same scenario with the Parish Council in our village, I completely support the efforts of the current management team fighting for the future of the hall. Good luck and don't give in.... (It took us 9 years but we got there!)

What a pity it would be to lose such a wonderful amenity to the local community - we had a wonderful party here.

It seams to me that the group running this sports facility are doing so for the best interest of the community and the care required for the building. It is a pity that the council can't see that they are penialising volunteers for succeeding and will ultimately destroy the facility at a great cost to the community. Same on this council for having such a blinkered attitude to what is a very small profit that is being pumped back into the building and saving the local rate payers from having to foot the bill for the maintenance of the building.

Why do people in power always want to abuse that power? Greed seems more important than kindness. Shame on this Council.

Our councils need to stop being money grabbers so they can find their lofty lunch time expense bills and actually start making changes for the publics benefits.

The pavilion was always for the benefit of local people to enjoy sport not as a money making enterprise.

People have been involved in the sporting community here for years. Many volunteers help create a community spirit and the council wish to ruin this! Outrageous.

HP10 8HU. This is a fantastic, affordable facility for local people. I run two Pilates classes a week there, only possible because it is very reasonably priced. It is clean and well maintained and booking is made easy by the current tenants. I cannot understand why anyone would wish to change something that is working to serve the parish so well.
