It is only thanks to the wonderful group of dedicated volunteers that the pavilion has become what it is today - a widely used and much loved community asset. The HSA has proved over the years that they can keep it running as a community place that benefits everybody in Hazlemere and to loose this due to the council trying to make a huge profit will be a shame to everyone in the local area. I hope they reconsider their plans so they can keep the pavilion running in the way everyone knows and loves.

There is no way a facility like this can make any sort of profit without the support of the local community - the very people this facility should be for.

Hazlemere Pavilion serves as a platform for local resident to have a social evening few times a year. This contributes a togetherness in community. It's extremely harsh for the council to deprive the local residents of this option.

I can't believe this. How are the Parish Council justifying their actions. The volunteers running the Pavilion are doing a suberb job and I can not believe the Parish has the community in their hearts with this action.
