This is disgusting and the Parish Council should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves!

Going back on an agreement is a bad move and will damage the community.

The council either pay the VAT bill or keep the rent low, and stop building unused bowling/croquet greens on our football pitches!!

These councillors are supposed to represent the residents and their wishes but they seem to think that collecting revenue is more of a priority. We should publish a list of their names so we can vote them out at the next election.

Just seems a bizarre, ridiculous piece of short-term thinking from the Council - take a community asset that is working and try and break it

I am shocked at the action of the council. This is quite clearly a calculated and cynical ploy for VAT to have been avoided in the construction works. They will have had this planned all along. Shame on them all.

Keep up the great fight. It does seem incredibly harsh position by the Council.

Very sorry to see they are trying to do this, I wonder what the ulterior motive is?

It should be kept for the people of Hazlemere to use to provide local sports and entertainment facilities.

I deplore any actions that involve councils deprive the community of the right to use good sport facilities. We need to encourage young peopleto involve themselves in sport.and the council should be backing that concept.

Keep this Pavilion for the purpose for it was originally intended - a place for the people of Hazlemere to benefit the community

HP15 6XD - This action by the Parish Council appears to be a complete betrayal of past agreements with HSA and others, and is a disgrace to the memory of Ken Williams, who did so much for HSA and hazlemere Tennis Club.
