HSA furnished the building at £20000. HSA pay ALL maintenance costs e.g. lift, security, hygiene, refuse, licenses plus cleaning, lighting, heating, water. Truth doesn't know what he's talking about. Could he manage the building more efficiently??

Agreed, but HSA charge Hazlemere residents money to use a parish council facility that the Hazlemere residents paid for in the first place and continue to every year in the council tax to the tune of £40,000 per year plus maintenance, etc. Then HSA Ltd move that money to HSA Ltd a private company see their company report on-line, nice profits !

What plan's there are no plans to change the facility, the only plan is to open up to all the community !

I am sorry but what plans, you do not even know what the council have said or plan to do. It seems you believe what HSA have stated, bizarre ? Read the council minutes to find out the truth. This HSA petition is misleading, wrong and inaccurate !

You are being totally misled, HSA Ltd have their own agenda, that's HSA does not want a Skatepark on the Hazlemere Recreation Ground. They want to control who what and when. They want to keep the facility for the privileged few.

This building was paid for by the tax payer in Hazlemere only £700,000 and should be opened up for all Hazlemere to use free of charge and not to have to line the pockets of HSA Ltd with their membership fees.

We agree, unfortunately you have been mislead the council do not want to make a profit from this building unlike HSA Ltd who are making thousands of pounds and keeping it in the HSA Ltd bank account under the control of just the 4 HSA directors who can take the money out any time they want without you or any members voting ! The council have spent £700,000 building plus maintenance, etc and furnishing this facility and HSA have spent a few thousand out of their massive profits !

The council have no intention of taking the Pavilion away from the community they want to open it up for everyone to use in Hazlemere and not just HSA members at extortionate fees ! HSA were suposed to set up as a charity not a private Ltd company they mislead the council, read the council minutes on the council website of the time, the truth is all documented !

This petition from HSA/HSA Ltd is misleading and not factually true. The so called peppercorn agreement was not a valid or legal document (one sheet of paper with no lease) that was for 2 years only and finished in 2012. HSA claims are not true, fact ! There is no agreement in place because HSA will not agree one ! HSA agreed to set up as a charity #9read the council minutes of the time) and have not, instead they set up as a private Ltd company who turn over tens of thousands of pounds. Their articles state that the directors 4 off can remove the profits from HSA Ltd anytime they like, without a vote of their members. They said they were going to put the money back into the community to the council at the time and they have not. They said they would set up as a charity and have not. The VAT issue is wrong and not true there was and is no VAT to pay on this building under any circumstances, completely incorrect, untrue and wrong ! The council have not asked for £40,500 for a lease for the building, wrong again. The building was valued independently by a commercial valuer for insurance purposes and HSA (a private company) are using a figure to mislead you ! The council want to negotiate with HSA a fair rent for a £1m building that is costing the Hazlemere tax payer £40,000 per year in debt plus all the maintenance, etc. HSA will not allow the council in their own building as they will not give the council the alarm code to a building that the tax payer paid £700,000 for. HSA/HSA ltd do not use it for all the Hazlemere community but for members only who pay them, 2/3 live outside Hazlemere. They even take £5000 a year from a preschool group to use a room in the building and that’s 100% profit to HSA Ltd ! HSA Ltd rather than talk to the council engaged lawyers and therefore the council had to respond to protect a public asset. The fact is the Pavilion and facilities will continue regardless of HSA Ltd and the council are keen to have a facility for all of Hazle

This Sports Pavilion should be a right; not a privilage. Especially when the community help to run it so efficiently, in terms of personal time and effort and more importantly with fund raising. The Council should be ashamed of their proposed action!!
