Now live in Deal, Kent but originally from HW. I have only visited once, for an Equity & law reunion, and was very impressed. A great asset for the local community. The council's plans remind me of pubco's upping the rents on pubs to grab the profits that hard work has produced in the previous year.

40k is a disgrace!! The council should be ashamed!! Soon be moaning when kids r smashing peoples houses up!!! Played against hazelmere for many years and always enjoyed going back to the clubhouse!!!

This was built for the community and should be free for the young and old. All ages use this club and love this club. This club had been going for years & years. The council's just getting greedy.......

I'm appalled by the behavior of the parrish council. Sport and recreation are being sacrifice in the search for an unrealustic profit. Good will and hard effort have kept this facility going and this shouldnt be undervalued.
