Trouble is they were NOT elected - there were not enough nominations for the available seats on the Parish Council, so this lot chose themselves!

"The Truth" is a guy named Tony Howard who happens to be the father of two Parish Councillors, one of who (allegedly) is in a relationship with another councillor. Tony also attends every council meeting, possibly records the goings on, and then blogs them in great detail for the minority pressure group k/a Hazlemere Residents Association, of which Brian Mapletoft the HPC Chairman is also Chairman. quite a cosy set up eh!. Also dare you choose to challenege the word of said Mr Howard, then he turns personal and nasty and will delete your comments!

Most of the HRA supporters probably live in Rose Avenue or Manor Road are will be keen supporters of the Hazlemere Community Centre. Enough said!

They won't have the skateboard park in Rose Avenue because it is too near to Manor Road where the leading Council protagonists live. How very NIMBY of them! Hence they want to disturb anything that is going on at the Hazlemere Rec including the well run pavilion.
