Charging commercial rent will result in an increase in charges (either hire charges or drinks prices), less people will use it. Simple. All you'd do here is end up with an empty hall - not making money and not being used by the community for which it is intended.

HP10 8DH . While the government is trying to encourage youngsters to get out there & do sports , this parish council appear to not like that idea ! It's a great community facility , it would be a real shame to lose it .

Outrageous but yet "Unsurprising" actions from the council. Someone somewhere I feel will do well out of this and assure you wont be the sports club. Having now got a really impressive facility to accommodate a fantastic sports club i'm shocked it can be taken away like this in a fraction of the time it has taken to build up.

I grew up using the recreation ground at Hazlemere and without these types of places for kids and young adults to go what will happen to them? Volunteers who run these types of places for the use of local communities are priceless to local authorities and services.

The council is totally unreasonable. So much for helping voluntary organisations who provided sport to the local community.

The Pavillion should continue to be run for the benefit of the community. The current committee do a really good job. Groups other than sports groups benefit from this facility.
