Not content with sabotaging HPC's negotiations with the Croquet Club costing the Club several thousand pounds because these new Councillors/HRA (2009) were set on having a skate-park in Hazlemere (but not in their own back yard) they now want to add insult to injury by loacating their precious skate-park only a few yards away from the Croquet Club's new site. How selfish/self-serving is that.

The Council is making an outrageous choice in deciding this and clearly do not have a clue about the valuable community work that we do in Hazlemere. It is certainly not a commercial asset it is a community centre at the heart of Hazlemere. If the Parish Council think it is proper to demand this commercial rent they need to seriously look at themsleves as the individuals will be held to account personally and collectively

The children really love playing football here and it would be a great loss if this was taken away

In the light of new information received, I am happy to withdraw the above comment about a particular relationship between two councillors, other than two of them being sisters and daughters of he who reports on the Council's proceedings!

Hi Alan. The alledged relationship isn't by the way!

The pavilion should be a resource for local people, not a source of income.

The Parish Council are completely out touch both with the people and reality, if they press ahead with their rediculous plans they will end up with a "White Elephant" as no-one will be able to afford rental charges to use the Pavilion, Ken Williams must be turning in his grave.

Yet another example of how important health, fitness and sport is viewed in this country. No wonder we can't compete in sport on a National level and obesity stats are increasing.

Local authorities should be encouraging sport, not trying to bleed it to death.
