Having been a playing member of Hazlemere Tennis Club for approximately 50 years I feel Ken Williams, who I knew personally, would have been shocked and disappointed by the Parish Council's attitude regarding sports in Hazlemere, as it was never the intention for the sports pavilion to be a "commercial asset" . I live in HP15 6EZ

it is a great local facility and a great shame to see the council renege on the original intent. It has been successful because of the unpaid volunteers putting in so much commitment and time to the local community

Wall of silence from our councillors. Whatever happened to Mr Mapletoft's promise "I stood for the Parish Council on a policy of openness and transparency and during my term over the coming year this will be our basic principle of operation" Clearly he is 'not fit for purpose'!

I have played on these pitches for years and now help out coaching under 6's, all the HSA is looking to do is give young kids the oppertunity to learn to play football in a safe environment. HP27 9PJ

Although I do not live in Hazlemere I have a long term relationship with Hazlemere School and see the sports facility as crucial to the children's health & well-being as well as an important resource for the development of the community spirit of Hazlemere.

Currently 783 voters who will not elect Councillor Mapletoft and his cronies when they next seek re-election in this parish. Time for those parish councillors who do not support their colleagues to stand up and be counted.

Good luck with the petition from a coach at Blackstone FC (based in Denham). You have some of the best sports facilities in South Bucks and a great club set-up. The parish council should reconsider.

Please keep the use of sports pavilion as it is. we have enjoyed playing football on the rec for many years against HT teams, and the 6 a side tournament is a highlight of the year.
