My three sons play football for Kings Church who play Hazelmere on a regular basis. It is an exceptionally well managed club who give a huge amount back to the community. It would be a terrible shame after the Olympics legacy if sport for children could not be actively supported in the locality and with so much pressure and support from the Government to improve our supporting legacy in schools and communities through PE and sports funding. I do not believe that the Hazelmere ground should become a commercial venture.

How much would the Council need to invest in other youth services if the Pavillion can no longer be run? Another false economy from short-sighted councillors...

I have loved bringing my 3 sons to play at Hazlemere. It would be a disaster if the Church teams were forced out because of a totally unreasonable comercial rent.

Holy trinity football Club and a voluntary and community minded club, serving, over the year,s thousands of children. They would not be able to continue to do this is you decide to increase their rent by a extortionate amount of money. Would you really want to prevent that amount of children the chance to play football for generations to come? They would then have to increase the subscriptions for the children which would mean that many of the children would be unable to pay and continue enjoying their sport. It shouldn't be only those that can afford it that can play.
St Peters (Iver) FC enjoy coming here and making use of the great facilities which we hope will be kept for the local community.

The council should be encouraging children to participate in grass roots football by making it accessible. The facility is a beacon of opportunity in Hazlemere and the rent quoted is not viable for a community based sports club.
