School districts do not have the specialized training to provide the level of skilled service these special need children need and deserve. Inclusion is wonderful but does not mean it is always the most appropriate placement for a special needs child with true medical needs.

We desperately need these schools. These children deserve an education no matter what their abilities are. Please take in consideration how much help the schools are for these children. And also for their parents.

If there are traffic problems at Newcastle, fix the roads; don't break the children.
The special talent and equipment it takes to actually serve those who cannot possible serve themselves is beyond the skillsets and beyond any reasonable expectation of those who serve our mainstream schools. It is insane to ask them to meet the needs of those with special needs.
