The school board has no idea how much time, effort, and history that jump has behind it. Our jumping team was first runner up IN THE COUNTRY. If they knock that jump down, they take our future titles with it. Where will they practice now? The boys (and Kaitlin) have done their part, worked hard and earned our school a national title. Now the school board has to do their part and keep the jump safe for our title winning ski jumpers. There is too much pride and tradition in that jump for it to be knocked down before our eyes. As Plymouth Regional High School, we must make a stand and uphold the school motto "Pride and tradition". I urge the school board to see how much this jump means to our athletic program, school; community, and most importantly, those brave kids who soar in the air to victory, our jumping team. I may not be on the team myself, but going on my third season as a member of the PRHS Alpine Ski Team, and I don't want to see it go down just as much as every single one of those kids who fly off that jump the moment there's a foot of snow on it. So please, the jump is fixable. We need the school boards support to make this happen.

High school ski jumping is unique, fun and amazing. New Hampshire is the only state that still has it, for a school sport. In no way should we let it die. The plymouth jump meet was always one of my favorite places, and met some really good rivals and friends. Be a shame to see it go. So lets keep it alive and keep on jumping

The sport of ski jumping needs this facility. New Hampshire is fortunate to have a viable ski jumping circuit, unlike other New England states, and its jumps need to be preserved. And when jumps such as this get taken down, they don't come back.

From a family of six boys, five ski jumped. Part of our life through school, and even into college. Please don't take a piece of ski history away. Still part of NH high school ski teams. One of the best character building sports...builds confidence and changes kids lives! Please don't take that away!

This jump could be a great example of project based learning for building trades while still supporting a unique way for PRHS students to tackle risk in a controlled environment.

I urge the school board to take another look at their decision. The ski jump is part of the school's history. Find out what is really deficient and fix it. Don't just decide to make it go away.

This is an important piece of NH ski history. Instead of tearing it down, please research ways to crowd-fund it's restoration and make it a showpiece. My son was fortunate enough to compete at this jump for four years as a member of the Kennett High School ski jump team, and we always looked forward to the positive energy and super friendly competition at Plymouth. With NH being the only state in the nation to still sanction high school ski jumping, it would be a truly horrible loss to this unique sport at your school, to the Plymouth community, and to New Hampshire. Fix it up! We support you!

Don't tear it down, create a Project Based Learning lesson around it and have the high school students figure out how to fix it!

It was so sad in Lyndonville, Vermont when this same thing happened. people missed it after and the history that goes along with it.
