Our son learned to jump at this facility and went on to jump at the Empire State Games in 2010. It is hard enough to give kids the opportunity to learn a great sport. Losing yet another jump seems like a step backwards.

I grew up jumping on this hill every year, with the continuous loss of ski jumping hills in the state there is serious danger that my own kids will not be able to participate in the sport I love. Save this ski jump!

NH stands alone offering competitive ski jumping to high schoolers. Last Olympics American women did us proud when they were finally allowed to compete. NH jumpers are the grassroots of that success. Let's keep it that way I am the mother of two Kennett High School ski jumpers who went on to compete on the big ones around the country and my husband went on to be a judge at the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics . He marked the gold medal jump.

I'm a Kennett High School Ski Jumping Team alum from the class of 1996. I have many fond memories of skiing at this hill. Olympians like Nick Alexander, Nick Fairall, Chris and Jeff Hastings, Mike Holland, Bryan Welch, Jed Hinkley,Carl Van Loan and others all got their start on the jumps of the NH High School Circuit. Please save this uniquely NH tradition and maintain the infrastructure necessary to train the next batch of NH Olympians!
