Like any school...holy trinity families need a modern and adequate building to facilitate their children and their teachers..my eldest child is 30 yrs ...and 3 younger...all when to school there and we have been fighting tooth and nail..listening to empty promises all those yrs and waiting for a new school.
All those yrs waiting for a sports ground..playground and classroom extensions..enough is enough ..what is happening can be classed as discrimination at this point...health and safety is certainly not in the the forefront of your thoughts as ye consistently deny our future kids and possibly my grandchildren a place to be educated.
Although a church of ireland school..it has welcomed all religious persuasions without quibble for as long as i can remember...
Now its time for the educational system to stand up and fight for our future generations and give westport s ecumenical church of ireland a new school that we and it can be proud of. Looking forward as are many others to the right decision to be made.thanking you..Helena Bennett moran..louisburgh and westport born and reared..look after our local requirements !

This is more bullying by government.
They talk about inclusion and highlight prejudice . And turn around to do this!!!. Both schools have a totally different ethos, both noble. And its not fair to Christians of the C.O.I. tradition. Downright discrimination. Bullies. If this is not dealt with properly, there will be 5000 votes questionable in this town. This will not be forgotten at election time. Lets face it, the Fine Fail Glasri need every vote they can get from recent history.

This is another example of unfair discrimination against 'minority patronage' schools. Both Educate Together and Holy Trinity School should have their own independent sites to fully develop their schools.
