Not a great plan at all with an already crowded school! Think outside the box!

It is totally unacceptable that Holy Trinity have been advised that their new school will have shared facilities with another organisation. Holy Trinity have fought hard and procured the site thus making the commitment from the Dept easier as no site need to be assembled. Please reverse this decision immediately and move the project forward without any further delay.

Please consider a separate site for the Educate Together school, maybe one outside of the town centre to allow for their outdoor, child centred ethos. Please consider traffic, parking, pedestrian and cycling paths to and from the school. Poor planning decisions have been made in the past with regard to schhol location and traffic . Having regard to the Covid 19, and the 75 million allocated to school expansions, surely we should not make the mistake of too small classroom sizes once more.

Holy Trinity deserve a new school, they have been waiting for years, it's only fair they get the site where old Scoil Pharaig is

For 8 years I was Chair of the BOM and during that time we worked persistently to try and get a new building, but officialdom at local and national level has been unsupportive at every turn. The only truly helpful organisation were the Sisters of Mercy who owned the site and wanted the school to have it in the first place.
