It's atrocious! The cleaners must be as fed up as the parents with the mucky mess.

I have 2 boys at the school, and every night my boys are coming home soaking and dirty. I don't mind dirt as having 5 boys I am used to it. But I have had to buy new shoes, t-shirts & trousers for the 2 boys. Next year I will have 3 at the school it's not fair parents having to go out and buy school clothes all the time because of the poor design to kids play area. I also don't like the thought of my kids sitting soaking all day, there socks are soaking.

Kids are coming home with sand staining their clothes and wrecking their shoes. Will the council be contributing towards dry cleaning and new shoes?

We are currently on our third pair since August due to us having to take a nail brush to our 6 year olds shoes every night to clean them. Getting fed up of his clothes, jackets and shoes being ruined!

Shoes and clothes are ruined frequently and the school has the cheek to tell the kids to take shoes off as they're "too muddy" for the classrooms? There has been many many design flaws with this school and the miniscule bit of tarmac vs mud is one.

It's a shame kids can't play without getting filthy, can't be comfortable for them sitting with wet muddy clothes on.

My son is on his 3rd pair of shoes. I’m all for having fun and burning energy at break and lunch but it’s at the point I am struggling to get shoes and jackets washed and dry in time for the next morning.

Already had to replace shoes 3 times and having to wash clothes constantly is hard to keep on top of . The playground is like a swamp my son comes home with his shoes thick with mud and sand which also soaks through to his socks so he has to sit in class all day with wet feet. I've had enough kids will be kids and no matter how many times you ask them to stay off the grass they forget whilst playing .hopefully something can be done but on a positive in sure the summer months the playground will be fab.
