My wee girl is primary 1 & on her 4th pair of shoes. Plus all her uniform is wrecked with it. Does the school understand how expensive this is for us as parents? Dows the school understand

Had to buy a 2nd pair of shoes by October because they were ruined. The state of the grounds is a disgrace.

The playground is in a terrible state! When the uniform was initially released it was constantly emphasised on how smart the children were to be dressed and this would be a representation of the school, the poor kids attend school every morning looking so neat then end up filthy just by stepping into the school playground!

The personal cost at constantly having to buy new shoes/boots is reason enough for change.

The impact on our environment with the amount of washing we are needing to do to keep the kids clothes and shoes clean is ridiculous...not to mention the cost to parents with the new clothes we need to buy when the stain don't come out!! H and how unhygenic it is for children to be sitting in class covered in mud during class...and the impact on the cleaner to clean the mud out the class rooms

As a working parent I struggle to keep up with cleaning school jackets every few days due to the mud on top of making sure homework etc is done. When you arrive home at 6.30pm at night drying winter coats can take a while. Decent School shoes/boots are expensive and tge playground is ruining them. Never had issue before as school rule was no-one on the grass when it's wet.
