This is groundbreaking care of the homeless in Akron. I hope you will let it continue as a test study at least, to verify the effectivess of stepwise reintegration of the homeless into society. Perhaps getting a grant to study? Please consider this option. Thank you.

This new community needs to live and survive just like they have been doing. Peacefully and for their community. These people work hard to stay alive and deserve their Second Chance Villiage. It's NOT hurting anyone but those who live there WILL be hurt of it is dissolved. Please step up to the plate and keep this for our Akron homeless to continue to thrive and LIVE instead of simply exist.

These are not the tents your looking for please move along. These tents have guardians over them who care for the outcome of the people. If anything maybe the city should be sending other tenters to this location for thier safety rather than tearing it down. These people will live somewhere. They wont just disappear. The voices will get louder. It's a promise.

The second chance community, while housed in tents, is better maintained than many homes in Akron - but more importantly, it nurtures its residents by providing safety, and opportunities daily to be good citizens who are treated with dignity and respect.

There are only two options: Keep Second Chance Village open or provide safe housing for all homeless people. To close one and not provide an alternative in immoral!!!
