Disgusting withdrawing a bus to Weaverham High School. As a driver myself I think this route is unsafe for children to walk Evan if accompanied by an adult. Having to cross a very busy road is bad enough never mind peak times crossing at least three times and then trying to cross extremely busy junctions used by cars as a rat run to miss traffic lights is totally unacceptable. Chester West and Chester need to ask themselves as parents would they wish/ want there child walking this route in all weathers in the dark am and pm.?Rethink those who thought this a good idea and saves money before a serious accident or situation arises.

Cut foreign aid. Pay for this. UKIP would do it. Doesn't that tell you something?

As a grandparent with one child already and another four to go in the future I am most concerned for their safety. Have CWAC even considered asking for a contribution from the parents?? Wakey, wakey, CWAC

This is awful when I was at weaver ham I only ever had to walk this once and it isn't nice! The shouldn't be made to have to walk that far it's takes at least 30mins! B

Removing a safe school bus service and exposing children and parents to one of the busiest A roads in Cheshire is asking for a fatality to occur; utter madness!

I do not have kids but this is a discrase, this country can pay so much foreign aid per year but can't pay to keep our own safe! Disgusted at this what a joke

This road is not safe for children to walk along on their own. It is too fast, Too busy and too far. It the winter it will be dark. The children need school transport. Do not take it away from them!

That's crazy! The A49 is a crazy busy road in the morning! Kids need school transport!

The walk is on a dangerous busy road. Expecting children as young as 11 to walk this route to school with hgvs driving past at speed is too much.

Surely one bus is better for the environment than very many cars & safer too. Keep on business!
