Dronfield Sports centre is planning to close its sauna and steam facility from Sunday 25th September.

The benefits of saunas and steam rooms include:

• Lower blood pressure
• Helps alleviate stress and tension
• Helps the body to detoxify
• Improves circulation
• Contributes to male and female mental well-being

‘a 2015 study of older Finnish men who used the sauna found that the risk of cardiovascular death and mortality from any cause was significantly reduced’ (source on request)
