Dronfield Sports centre is planning to close its sauna and steam facility from Sunday 25th September.
The benefits of saunas and steam rooms include:
- Lower blood pressure
- Helps alleviate stress and tension
- Helps the body to detoxify
- Improves circulation
- Contributes to male and female mental well-being
‘a 2015 study of older Finnish men who used the sauna found that the risk of cardiovascular death and mortality from any cause was significantly reduced’ (source on request)
If you don’t want to lose this facility:
Come and have your say in the Sports Centre on Wed 7th September between 4 - 5 pm
