We moved here because of the beautiful trees, dirt roads and neighborly feel of this town and hope to enjoy it forever In our 1920’s refurbished home and whatever we can do to preserve the quaintness for generations to follow would be a blessing....people come down our street every day walking, running and biking to take in the beauty of Windermere that you can’t find anywhere else in Orange County....please reconsider any drastic changes that will change the landscape and beauty of our town

Don’t waste money expanding the roads so more cars can cut through the town. Think about all the cops wasting their time giving people speeding tickets to speeders. Especially think about all the kids that play outside and the animals as well. People will get injured if you do this. Put the money somewhere useful for a change. Like cutting trees over the road or landscaping. Who ever came up with idea is beyond stupid.

Not necessary. This would destroy millions of dollars of our town assets, our tree canopy.

This is unnecessary and a complete waste of money. Spend the money on something else that will help the town residence. One car per hour drives down my street.

I’m a walker...I love the dirt roads...some of the ones that are still narrow are my favorite!
Additionally, the lakes and dirt roads are a large part of the “Windermere charm”!

Our town identifies so strongly with the narrow dirt roads. I don’t think we need to make drastic changes at the cost of trees and character, to solve a problem that has been manageable for decades.

DO NOT MESS WITH OUR SANDY ROADS!!! We selected to live in this town for the sandy-roads, lakes and old Florida charm. If we wanted to live in a cookie cutter subdivision, we would --we DON'T.

I’m in favor of improving the roads, but I looked over the Butler Street proposal on the town website, and the drainage solution has a very lopsided negative impact on one residence.

We do not want to widen the town streets, at all. That would destroy the feel of the town, contribute to speeding, and be a permanent loss.

It would be a travesty to increase the town right of way beyond the current dimensions
