Traffic management will be high risk and mixing the little ones with the senior years is not education that I would have wanted, leave well alone and save the money to pay off the debts

People outside our area making unacceptable plans for our children. Would they accept these changes if it affected them ? No, don't think so. Will they listen to those who know best ? No

How are families with children of different age groups, struggling on a budget supposed to manage if they are just inside the catchment area (for free transport if there is one set in place) ? Or are they expected to walk their children an hour either way in all weathers?

This is a stupid plan, why should the children from Ferndale have to travel over to Treorchy, who will pay for their transport? what happens when the roads are closed because of the weather? a not infrequent occurence, how will building a new 6th form save money when there is already a perfectly good building in Ferndale, all these questions need to be answered, and the people of this valley need to be consulted about losing yet another facility from the Fach!!!

i am disgraced to hear that ferndale comunity schools 6th form is to close, what about the education of those teenagers who want to stay on in school ?, its rediculose that they will have to have a 7 mile trip to the nearest school that will have a year 6, absolutly disgusting.
