This has to stop now. The city of Melbourne is becoming unliveable now. We can't keep building apartments.

Heart breaking when there is so many vacant retail properties Should not be allowed in residential areas. Traffic already a problem in Lincoln Rd. Creates shade and destroys our beautiful suburb. It will look ugly (like KEILOR Rd )if one property is built more will be built!

A totally inapppropriate development for a residential area. Parking is already at a premium in Essendon, if not all of Moonee Valley. Pity the neighbours who will suffer from lack of sunlight on their properties during winter.

An absolute disgrace if this is approved. This type of building should never be allowed in a residential area, on an already dangerous intersection. It would set a precedent and other commercial properties would start to blot the landscape as well. Keep Commercial properties in business areas NOT residential areas.

This proposed business location would impact a residential street incredibly not appropriate in any way.
Parking is already a problem around this area and it is very dangerous with children as school a block down the road.
Please do not allow this business to go ahead there are numerous established commercial space.
Essendon is already impacted with traffic
Thank you

A commercial business and 3 storey building DOES NOT belong in Lincoln Rd. They need to find an option in Keilor Rd. Lincoln Rd is RESIDENTIAL.

This is a residential area, this building does not comply. Mt Alexander Road has enough of these developments without this one

We moved into this area 4 years ago relocating from Brunswick, a suburb that is now overdeveloped, My parents lived in the area and we grew up and went to school in this area. Since relocating to this area we have witnessed demolition of elegant period homes that have been replaced with unpleasant medium rise residential developments and inconsiderate institutional buildings.
Further more badly detailed underpasses leaving unfinished, un-planted nature strips with unfinished
station additions. The Moonee Valley Council is powerless against these developments at VCAT with the planning ministers support are eroding dignified areas. This unfortunately will be another badly considered and inappropriate development.

Dangerous intersection for vehicles and pedestrian traffic due to high volume traffic in Lincoln rd and volume of cars crossing intersection (worse at school drop off and pick up times as school is around the corner).

It is obvious that both the residents and the council are opposed to this commercial development on this site. There are many available commercial sites in the Essendon area and pre existing Commercial Building that could house this type of business.

This is already a busy and dangerous intersection and there is not sufficient parking available around the area as it is. This is an inappropriate development for the proposed site.

I shudder to think that my now 6 year old daughter and son will have to walk past a cosmetic “clinic” on the way to high school. What message does this send to them? This sort of development will have an immeasurable but very real negative impact on the children and adults trying to enjoy the local park which should be considered a sanctuary for families free from these sort of trashy and immoral ventures. Put your clinic out in Airport West, it’ll be easier for the ambulances to navigate to as they respond to he botched surgeries. See below. https://www.abc.net.au/4corners/beautys-new-normal/10115838

I am a medical doctor and feel very strongly that not only is this commercial building unsuitable as outlined in the petition, but that the nature of the business is not at all a desirable addition to our community. This type of business in my opinion contributes to the already unhealthy obsession developing in our society with appearance/body image, and I have particular concerns in this area in close proximity to schools and family homes. Furthermore as a group, cosmetic medical practitioners do not have specialty medical training, and are associated with high risk procedures; they inflate their surgical/procedural skills and I have seen first hand innumerable complications from such procedures.
