I completely agree to keeping with the area, 800m2 blocks & larger would be much more appropriate for this suburb.

Really. Does it have to happen? Does Redlynch need it? The size of residential blocks are already small enough as it is. 550m2 is bordering on too small and there are plenty of those already in Redlynch Central just over that. People want reasonable size houses to live comfortably with their families. We are getting smaller lots with no room for the kids to play in which means they head out into the the streets and start running amok without the supervision of adults. This is when the problems start. Putting a cramped development like this on a major road (and the only road in or out of the valley) with no provision for the additional stress on the local infrastructure is ridiculous. The lights are not the issue, and albeit will not make it any better. Cars will drop their kids off near the lights so the kids can use a crossing-if one's provided, and that is if they use-then they will be left stranded as they try to merge into traffic. Then where do they go, not to the end of the valley to do a U turn, it's turning into Jungarra to further congest the roads and intersection. Just another accident waiting to happen. The kids are already running across the road over double lines, do we need to give them another reason to put them in danger, the parents and kids are doing enough of that already. Not to mention the cars that are already doing illegal U turns over the double lines as it is. C'mon council, use your head.

Definitely agree road infrastructure alone will not cope with this type of development. Obviously haven't been in the area around school drop off and pick up times. Dont overload a beautiful area with so much housing.

The traffic to both schools is already crazy and dangerous i cant imagine what it would be like if this subdivision goes ahead.Bigger blocks yes, that's what i think all of Redlynch should be, nice big blocks with a country feel. Stop jamming houses into the ares PLEASE.

300 m square blocks is ridiculous, and we need to sort out the current traffic issues before any further sub divisions in this area.

Redlynch enjoys an enviable regional setting and high density housing will be detrimental to the communities. The financial gain for developers should not polarize the need for maintaning a quality of living for the residents.

300m2 lots end up with all house and no yard, all crammed together in "legoland", with narrow roads you can't park a car on, as there is no room to pass. Developments like this should not be allowed. How do, if the need arises, emergency services access these inadequate and poorly thought out estates? How does our council allow this to happen? One thing Australia has a lot of, is land - what happened to the typical 1/4 acre block? If people wish to buy a property with no yard, so to speak, there are other options. We are (or were) a semi rural area - 300m2 blocks are high density and don't suit our area. Please don't let developer greed and the council destroy what little undeveloped space is left in Redlynch

The reason why we love Redlynch is the small community feel. It is getting so built up and congested it is loosing all appeal.

Overcrowding is ugly and congested. We live in Australia- home of the Aussie backyard yet everywhere we look these tiny house blocks are being developed, houses being built that are no more than a glorified shoe box with nowhere for the kids to play. All because of the greed of big business. No more- it's ruining the Aussie lifestyle and devaluing surrounding properties.
