there is not the infrastructure for such a development... it's taken years to fix up the previous planning mistakes... & now more mistakes are about to be made... this is a totally inappropriate development to satisfy the greed of a few

Utterly ridiculous to cram housing on tiny blocks like this. It's purely for a profit and obvious that there is no thought to maintaining the current set-up of Redlynch.

300m2 blocks is crazy for this area. I was appalled when the dropped to 600. Linda Cooper this is wrong on so many levels.

This is a quiet area for families and if it gets over developed then it will become just like all the other busy suburbs.

Save Redlynch, as the desirable suburb it is now. We don't need to overdevelop the suburb and ruin the place it already is.

Totally agree. Way too many tiny blocks have been approved throughout Cairns already. The ruralness of Redlynch is what makes it special and unique.

I grew um here and lobe the Caine fields and by keeping them here the creek won't be so littered

we do not need this type of development here in our beautiful spacious suburb. Traffic is already choking with the current infrastructure. Surely something better could be developed.

And where will all the water go??? No more infiltration of rainfall in such a densely packed urban area. The recent surges in development in Redlynch on higher ground and in lower lying areas has covered large areas of this valley in concrete. Where will the runoff go? What happens when the Freshwater River floods? It will be like a king tide hitting a flooding river mouth. The small scale mindset used in the Northern Corridor for each proposal that doesn't take in the bigger hydrological picture costs everyone in the long run.
